Review: Fudge - Clean Blonde Violet Shampoo 300ml

Excuse the dirty bottle - it lasted way longer than I expected.

Excuse the dirty bottle - it lasted way longer than I expected.

I have been dying my hair since I was 18. And I love it. Other than the hit to my wallet I come out of the hairdressers feeling like a new woman powering through life. My hair is light and soft and shiny and basically goddess like. However as I start the saving process all over again for my next freshen up I notice that it loses its special quality after a few weeks. And depending on the time of year (sunshine, sea water etc) it can start to turn yellow. After spending all my pennies on my hair the last thing I want is for it to look like a bad bottle job. This is when I found this purple shampoo hair treatment.

Name: Fudge - Clean Blonde Violet Shampoo 300ml

Comment: It does exactly what it says on the bottle and removes the yellow tones from blonde hair leaving your hair looking fresh and brightening all the natural golden tones in your hair. It is fully purple when it comes out of the bottle so be a little careful as it can stain (my nails always turn a little purple). I use a leave in conditioning treatment after as it usually dries out my hair a little but this definitely does the trick. It gives me that fresh salon feeling which is a massive tick in my cash strapped books.

A tad pricier and more difficult to come by than the Touch of Silver (review to come) but it lasted so long I felt it was worth it.

Rating: 8/10

*The bottle has had a jazzy new rebrand since I bought my mine.
